Environmental Compliance Administrator

SUMMIT LIABILITY SOLUTIONS INC. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join the Drilling Waste Management Division as an Environmental Compliance Administrator (Competition #17-11-0188) in Alberta. This is a permanent full-time office position based out of Lloydminster, AB.

JOB DUTIES

Your primary duties will include organizing and streamlining paper flow within the office, report review and preparation, invoicing, processing third party agreements, minor software and systems improvement, notifications to regulatory bodies and maintaining the necessary reporting requirements of various clients.

You will be supported by the entire Summit organization which consists of a dynamic team of technical administrators, business development professionals, an in-house IT department and many other highly experienced, skilled and educated Professionals.

Candidates must be prepared to work in a multidisciplinary, fast paced project team environment and able to undertake a variety of project related tasks related to DWM.

REQUIRED SKILLS
  • A science based University Degree or College Diploma from a recognized institution
  • Professional Designation or potential to obtain designation (P.Ag, P.Biol, R.P. Bio, P.Eng) an asset
  • A minimum one year of experience in the environmental industry (Oil and Gas, Energy and Utilities)
  • Ability to prioritize and process large volumes of paperwork
  • Strong computer skills
  • Knowledge of the Federal and Provincial regulatory framework
  • Environmental Assessment Services experience (asset)
  • Excellent communication and technical writing skills
  • Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
